Miracles do happen

It had been almost 48 hours since we heard from my aunt in Mississippi. My mother was pretty calm, until they pinpointed the town of Bay.St.Louis as the worst hit. Later they said that they were just leaving the bodies in the houses and marking them with black marks because they didn't have enough refridgerated trucks to move them. At this point I had given up all hope. I couldn't imagine that she could survive, along with my uncle and cousin, the news images were just too horrific.

We just received a call 20 minutes ago. They're all ok. Their home is gone, but they are all fine. We don't know where they are because they had to go...

Thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers, and don't stop now, plenty more people are in need of them.

Some words of encouragement

Well yesterday I was pretty much ready to quit school. I was stressed and nervous, and thinking about the million dollars I have to spend on markers! Ok, maybe not a million maybe like 150$ but that still seems like a lot to spend on markers!

So in any case, I got a project back from last semester, and a teacher wrote some encouraging things on it, like how I have a good idea for color coordination... which i've always prided myslef in. So that was good to hear, I also found a cheaper brand of markers so hopefully I'll buy a few and they wont be crap!

That's all for today, have to spend the rest of the week catching up on homework I didn't do this weekend! ;)

Hooray for new stuff!

Ok, so yesterday I got a nice sized box filled with new chatterbox papers, and Heidi Swapp ribbons... gotta love it! It's sometimes a pain to upload all the stuff to the store, but i'll take that any day over doing inventory. I've been putting off doing my paper inventory for quite sometime, but this weekend i've got the house to myself and new excuses... so... I'm going to be counting paper.... oy!

Closing Time...

Well the crop is almost over. I have completed 3 pages and 2 cards which is more then I've scrapped in the past six months since I started the site! We had some new registration as well as some old familiar faces back, all in all I think fun was had by everyone! Until next month! :)

TGIF

I think every Friday I think "Thank god..." at least once.

This weekend is the online crop, everything is ready to go! Can't wait to work. Plus it's going to be a rainy weekend so I'll have no excuse to not stay inside and crop :)

I will be sneaking out Saturday around 2pm to use my g/c for a massage I got for my birthday! :)

Another Day... Another CJ???

Ok, have you ever been so close to finishing a page that you can't even stand to look at it? That's how I am with these CJs.... AHHHHH!!!!! They wont go away ;)

Busy busy!

Well, it's known that I'm not a fan of CJs. I have TWO sitting here right now, and they're each missing something... a certain... I have no idea! Some of the topics have been great, but others arrive here and I just stare at them! ;)
