How To: Altered Prima Jewelry Box
Required Products:
Empty Box from a Prima Embellie Box
Patterned Paper
Adhesive
Co-coordinating acrylic paints
Skewer sticks
Foam (I used the foam from an Imaginisce brad package)
Step 1:
Cut your patterned paper and foam down to size, to fit into the divided areas.
For the foam I used a strong liquid adhesive.
Step 2:
Cut your skewers to size, paint desired color.
Once the paint is dry glue into place (I used Lepage's No More Nails)
Step 3:
Cut slits into foam for rings, if desired.
Earrings can be poked right into the foam
Step 4:
I distressed the edges of the box with sandpaper, then finger-painted on some blue paint that matched my patterned paper.
